Westward Ho Hotel - Folkestone

This was my second wonderful stay here and I would return here. Great-sized units with a good scrub, a lovely view plus bathtub, and the staff were affable.

Didn't like the area, it was very busy.

Family fun with some hiccups

Staff were super friendly, and we loved the breakfast options. The kids enjoyed the mini toiletries. We faced a bit of a struggle with the hot water on the first night, which wasn't great. The room was clean but those beds were really uncomfortable.

We stayed for one night in a spacious family room and the kids loved the nearby playpark and beach access. The room had a lovely view and we enjoyed the cozy garden area. Just a minor note, the stairs were a bit exhausting after a long day, but it didn't ruin our fun overall. 🌊

comfortable stay but minor cleanliness issues

The staff provided excellent late check-in service after our long journey. Our family room was spacious with a lovely sea view. It was also great to be in a quiet neighborhood right by the beachfront.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better.

The family room was spacious n clean, a big plus. The breakfast was really tasty, especially the fresh fruit and yoghurt packs! The staff were super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Location was perfect for beach walks too.

Two complaints tho, the walls were kinda thin so it got noisy at night. The decor felt outdated n needs some refreshing.

We had a lovely stay! The large family room was perfect for us, with fine views. The breakfast options were good too, especially the porridge every morning.

Spacious, fine, fine

The family room with a sea view was spacious and had comfy beds that felt mad really like a hug! I loved the large bath and the little touch of complimentary chocolate waiting on the bed. Plus.

The view from the sea view room was fine! Loved the comfy bed and the amenities like USB charging near the bed. The whole room felt fresh and clean, and I had a solid sleep despite the seagull chatter.

Situated on the cliffs, the location is wonderful, offering proximity to a beautiful cliff-park and serene beach. The staff were friendly, a lovely touch. The damp smell in the room was unpleasant, and patches of damp on the carpet were concerning.

I had a wonderful eight-night stay. the shower was fantastic and the breakfast café offered delicious, fresh pastries! The views were stunning, making my time here unforgettable. I'd definitely come back!

The beautiful sea views from my room were a delight, and the charming decor. Accessibility was good, allowing easy movement through the cozy common areas, perfect for a senior like me.

Better seating in common areas would be nice.

The location is super good for catching the ferry, and the room was basic but really clean. We had a nice view from our room and the pillows were comfy. The staff were really friendly and helped with everything we needed. The takeaway breakfast bags were a cool surprise! Overall it was a positive experience.

I enjoyed my 8 nights at westward ho! The location was superb, just a stroll from the seafront and easily reachable by bus. The private garden was a lovely retreat, and the breakfast team always provided porridge with a smile. My comfort room was immaculate and very relaxing.
